Mendip Spring Golf Club Signs the Women in Golf Charter

We are proud to announce that Mendip Spring Golf Club has officially signed the Women in Golf Charter, an initiative led by England Golf and supported by The R&A, aimed at creating a more inclusive culture within the game.

At Mendip Spring, we believe golf should be a sport for everyone — a place where all individuals, regardless of gender, feel welcome, valued, and supported. Signing the Women in Golf Charter is not just a formality; it is a clear statement of our commitment to growing the game and making it more accessible for women and girls at every level.

As part of our Charter commitments, we will:

• Actively encourage more women and girls to play golf and join the club.
• Create inclusive environments, on and off the course.
• Promote visible role models and opportunities for female leadership and development within the club.
• Work to ensure that our policies and culture reflect our commitment to equality and diversity.
